MICHAEL F. PRATT, M.D.
Dr. Michael F. Pratt
is a 1980 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine
and served as a Medical Officer in the United States Navy from
1980-1991. He completed his Residency in Otolaryngology - Head and
Neck Surgery at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, California in 1986,
and was Board Certified in 1987. He was on faculty at Medical
University of South Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina while
completing his active duty naval service at Naval Hospital
Charleston from 1986-1989. Dr. Pratt was Residency Program Director
of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Eastern Virginia Medical
School, Norfolk, Virginia, from 1989-1996 and Vice Chairman of the
Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Eastern
Virginia Medical School from 1995-1996. He relocated his
Otolaryngology private practice to Atlanta, Georgia in 1996. He
established Woodstock Ear, Nose and Throat, a suburban Atlanta solo
private practice, in 2001 where he now practices full time.
Dr. Pratt is a
Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck
Surgery and a Fellow of many professional organizations including
the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, The
American Society of Head and Neck Surgery, The American
Laryngological, Rhinological and Otological Society, and the
American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is
widely published in the field of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck
Surgery, and he is also a recipient of the Edmund Prince Fowler
Award for excellence in research given by the American
Laryngological, Rhinological and Otological (Triological) Society.
Dr. Pratt recently received the prestigious Honor Award bestowed by
the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
